This lineage traces back to John, b 1818 in England, and who established a small family in Fairfield, Connecticut. This family has remained very, very small. It is the seoond Parrott family to settle there-- the first did so in the 17th century and has grown much larger than this one.

Notes: Robert William Parrott, 77, retired proprietor of a meat and grocery market on East Main street, died yesterday morning at his home, 66 Ann street. He was great grandson of Francis Lightfoot Lee, one of the singers (sic) of the Declaration of Independence, and had been a resident of Bridgeport for more than 55 years.

He was a member of Aracanum lodge No. 41, I.O.O.F., and was superintendent of the Point Union Mission Sunday School, Nichos and East Main street, for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Etta J. Parrott, of Stratford. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from his home, with services in the Point Union Mission, Rev. Miner Harwood, of the Newfield M.E. church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery.

Miss Parrott's death brought sorrow to many friends, particularly her associates in church work. She was among the most active members of the Berean church and devoted much time to religious and charitable work. Her father is a well known groceryman, of East Main street. Besides her parents, one brother, Arthur, employed at his father's grocery, survives.

Notes: BRADFORD-Arthur M. Parrott, 79, died Tuesday at a Bangor hospital, after a long illness. He was born in Bridgeport, Conn., April 20, 1884, son of Robert ad Ettie (Ward) Parrott. He operated a grocery store in Connecticut before retiring and coming to Bradford several years ago.

Mr. Parrott held a life membership in St. John's Masonic Lodge in Stratford, Con.. His wife, Alice (Wilkes) Parrott died several years ago. There are no known survivors.

Funeral services will be held at Baker's Funeral Home, Bridgeprt, Conn., Friday. Interment will be in the family lot in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, Conn.
